TakeMeds is international, so it does not matter what country you or the people you want to assist live in.
TakeMeds is an online tool that will allow you to manage the taking of prescribed medicines at specific times. We use telephony, SMS, email or push notifications to send you or one of your loved ones a reminder each time they need to take their medicine.
Scenario 1
You need to take your blood pressure medicines at exact times each day. After signing up for the service, you receive a telephone call at the specific time reminding you to take your medicine. You have confirm that you have taken it. If not, the system will call you again in 15 minutes.
Scenario 2
One of your parents, living in another country, needs to take their prescribed medicines each day. You subscribe to the TakeMeds and enter your details, your parents detail and their care givers details. The system phones them when they need to take their medicine and asks them if they have taken it. If they do not answer the call for a while, you will get a notification. If they answer that they have not taken the medication or are unsure, the care giver is also sent a notification.
